- 1 slice of multigrain bread
- 1 thick slice of tomato
- 1 slice of Middlefield Swiss
- Garnishments: basil, pesto sauce
- Preheat oven broiler on low.
- Place the slice of bread on a baking sheet. Top with tomato and slice of cheese.
- Place in the oven. Broil until the cheese has melted and the bread is turning golden brown. Remove from oven.
- Garnish with fresh basil or dollops of pesto sauce.
